Since I've been living in Italy for over 8 months I have understood the most important thing for a great pizza is a great pizza dough and I've have come across with several pizza dough recipes, but non like this one! It makes my pizza-lover mind go crazy just thinking about it...

But let me tell you... there are so many pizza dough recipes out there that require hours if not days to prepare, but luckily for you this is not the case! This Easy Pizza Dough Recipe is quick and easy, and it's also kids-proof! So if you want to involve your whole family in the making of this pizza dough you absolutely can, it will be REALLY FUN! As I was saying, I've now lived in Italy for a while, so I know what a good homemade Italian dough is like, and I ensure you this one would please any of my Italian loving pizza friends. Obviously there is a lot of different preference when it comes to the thickness of the pizza crust, so do not hesitate to adopt this dough preference to yours.

You know, there's always someone that loves a thick pizza dough and others that prefer a thin pizza crust that is really, really crunchy.

You can always modify this homemade dough recipe by adding more dough into one portion to make a thicker pizza, as the pizza crust recipe below is for a medium to thin homemade pizza dough.


IS THIS PIZZA DOUGH VEGAN?

Of course! Generally, all pizza dough recipes are vegan, but you can be sure that everything you will find in this website is vegan and cruelty-free!


IS THIS PIZZA DOUGH RECIPE GLUTEN-FREE?

Unfortunately no, but it can be turned into a gluten-free dough recipe easily!

You can substitute the whole flour with any gluten-free flour like chickpea flour or oat flour and you will end up with an equally amazing dough! Easy, right?


IS THIS PIZZA DOUGH RECIPE FOR THICK OR THIN CRUST?

With the measures given this dough recipe will turn into a medium to thin crust. If you prefer a thicker dough you can always split the dough in two instead of four and you will end up with an incredibly thick and yummy pizza crust.


HOW TO MAKE A PIZZA DOUGH


HOMEMADE VEGAN PIZZA DOUGH INGREDIENTS
DRY INGREDIENTS
-525 g whole flour.
-2 g baking powder.
-11g salt.
WET INGREDIENTS
-20 ml olive oil.
-340 ml water.

HOMEMADE VEGAN PIZZA DOUGH RECIPE
-Combine the dry ingredients of this pizza dough recipe in a pot. Do the same with the wet ones.
-Once you have your dough ingredeints combined separately, mix them together slowly until a dough is formed.
-Knead the dough during several minutes until you get a firm dough.
-As we mention before, this pizza crust recipe makes for 4 pizzas so divide the paste into four balls and use as many as pizzas you want to cook. 
-Flatten your vegan pizza dough with a pizza roller and shape it as you prefer.
-Preheat the oven at 360 (180).
-Cover the pizza dough in tomato sauce and place it in the oven for 10 minutes before adding any other pizza ingredients.
